    Fire Elemental Model

    This is all coming from a copy of Zamir's ZAP!

    Swing Timer
    If Fire Blast, set to 0
    Otherwise previous timer + cast time
    Less 0.5 if Fire Nova
    "Cooldown" = 2 seconds
    Base Damage 180
    SP Coefficient 60%
    AP coefficient 14.29%

    Fire Blast
    Instant
    5 second CD
    Base damage 775
    SP Coefficient 20%

    Fire Nova
    2.5 second cast
    5 second CD
    Base Damage 988
    SP Coefficient 50%

    Fire Shield
    ticks every 3 seconds
    Base Damage 96
    SP Coefficient 1.5%

    Things to test
    • Are elementals affected by haste/crit now that they are dynamically updating Spellpower?
    • Confirm coefficients for all abilities (does melee still use AP scaling?)


    Earth Elemental will be tested after Fire Elemental testing is completed. Not so urgent as it will not be a large DPS contributor and will also have certain limitations.

    Testing Requirements:

    Need min & max non crit values for various spell power levels for all spells in both normal and primal forms.
    Reforge all mastery to crit to see if we can detect crit rate changes (also track this with int changes in first test set).
    Reforge all mastery to haste to see if there is an increase in cast speeds

    Confirmed:
    Fire Elemental uses 250% crits (likely to use 259% crits with meta gem). Should check if Earth Elemental works the same.

    From my own WoL researches regarding the Fire Elemental Totem I can provide the following information:

    - Fire Nova is only being cast if more than 1 enemy target is active
    - If there is more than 1 target, range does not matter, Fire Nova will be cast no matter if only 1 target will be hit or more
    - Melee Swing Timer is being delayed by Spell casts
    - Melee Swing Timer will be reset after Fire Blast
    - Fire Nova cast time varies between 2-2.5 sec
    - The CD of Fire Blast seems to be influenced by Fire Nova, but I was not able to find a general rule.
    - coefficients seem to be more like what Moshne posted. I calculated the following coefficients from WoL testing sessions during FL.
    - Fire Blast 36%
    - Fire Nova 85%
    - Fire Shield 2,5%
    - Melee 95%
    Too many times we confuse motion with progress

    Feedback from pet classes is that pets scale with secondary stats, and dynamically at that. Will have to do some testing to see if this is true for both Fire Elemental and Primal Fire Elemental.

    Level cap is upped to 90 on beta, so I expect we'll start seeing some work soon on a) the base fire elemental mechanics/behavior and b) primal fire elementals too

    Spell: base/coefficient

    Fire Elemental
    Melee: 330/55%
    Fire Blast: 77/23.6%

    Primal Fire Elemental
    Melee: 330/82.5%
    Fire Blast: 77/ 35.4%
    Immolate: 2160/82.5%
    Immolate DoT: 1337/96.9% (it could be 1336 but it rounded up to 1337 and I thought it amusing)

    Can confirm that Primal Fire Elementals scale with haste. Didn't confirm whether normal Fire Elementals do though. Will try to do some testing on this once beta is more stable.

    Confirming: normal (glyphed) fire elemental also scales with haste.

    3x summons with EM:
    92 melee swings, 18 fire blast casts (range per summon: 30-31 melee swings)

    3x summons without EM:
    80 melee swings, 18 fire blast casts (range per summon: 26-27 melee swings)
