    ERC: The Mists Edition

    I've started removing stuff from the last version of ERC (r12) and updating it with what we know of Mists so far. Once I've got most of the basic stuff added in, I'll do an alpha release for people to check stuff.

    Are there any "features" that people would like to see added in?

    Things to do (with known functionality):
    • Add better Searing Totem mechanics.
    • Add Fire Elemental in normal and Primal forms
    • Fight duration related stuff for cooldowns

    • Most of the Cata specific settings have been removed.
    • Old talents removed
    • Old buffs/debuffs removed and replaced with new ones

    Added Echo of the Elements in, with a variable for the proc rate. Was a larger change than I had expected because of the way it works.

    Moved completely to the new rotation model, added talent & stat dps values. Included Ascendance into calculations. Cleaned up and removed legacy stuff.

    New version, includes latest beta changes, T14 set bonuses and some other corrections.

    Still need to build an example gear set to get a better idea of output/scaling.

    Question for the Resto users: How do you evaluate stats? Do you use mana per second (regen and/or use), healing per second and/or healing per mana?

    Work in progress for the Resto calcs (see new tab: Resto Calcs). I haven't included half the passives yet, nor talents, and I've got some work to do on how the spell breakdown works (and find data on unleash life).

    Should really get around to adding glyphs in for Elemental too, although I also need to finalise the fire elemental models too.

    PS: Since it's not just "Elemental" anymore maybe I should rename it SRC for Shaman Rotation Calcs? eh...

    Some In-Progress notes.

    I'm converting the settings from a true/false flag for a value which is then used as a multiplier of the multiplier/whatever in the formula to a list select which flows through to a single if formula to work out the bonus, and that bonus is then used as variable in equations without the if statement wrapper. This means I can change these setting variables more easily via once formula than umpteen dozen different cells.

    Changelog for 03/05 (Dear Americans, use a proper date system. This is the Third of May, not the Fifth of March)
    Added:
    Passive racials. Have to set up evaluators for Orc/Troll on use abilities
    A ceiling for earth shock use to prevent the average count from going over the maximum number of earth shocks possible in a single rotation set. This will mostly come into effect with T14 4pc + not using glyph of Flame Shock.

    Continued re-doing some of the variable uses to remove if statements.
    Corrected a few spell values

    Interesting thing to note: Stat priorities are going to be different than before. Crit will be worth a lot more, but how that affects overall priorities is a question yet to answer (need to build a gearset + add base stats)

    Hey Bink,

    I think you have a small error in a formula:

    sheet "calcs"

    you have for mastery: =(8+(B6+WENN(C25="Mastery";B25;0))/ratingmastery+buffmastery)*0,02

    but as buffmastery has the value 1 it should be: =(8+(B6+WENN(C25="Mastery";B25;0)+buffmastery*2717 )/ratingmastery)*0,02

    Some more questions came up, when I studied your latest version of the spreadsheet.

    sheet "calcs"

    I am not really sure that your calcs for elemental blast are correct. As far as I know the buff was changed from 2717 mastery/haste/crit rating to 3500 with built 15640. The calc for the buff is kind of strange. I don't see any connection to the FS-time, but you are using it in your formula. =2717*1*(M51/14*8)/M51 gets the same result as =2717/14*8. Am I right in saying that the 14 = 12 sec CD + 2 sec cast time? Then this should be influenced by haste to 12+(2/(1+haste%). In this case =3500/(12+SVERWEIS(I51;spelllookup;3;0)/(1+K31))*8

    You are calculating the haste for the FS-time =(1+(J5)/ratinghaste/100)*WENN(Values!$E$30=1;(1+0,05);1)*(1+buffhaste* 0,05)-1
    The (1+buffhaste*0,05) seems weird as buffhaste has a value of 0,05. Multiplying this with 0,05 = 0,0025. I guess your intention was to have buffhaste as 1.

    Maybe I am mistaken, but I just want to understand the logic behind the calcs.

    Didn't know about the buff change.

    The stand alone FS Time calc for it is so I can push the haste buff from Blast into the main setup without ending up in a circular reference error.

    The 1+buffhaste*0.05 part was my old logic for enabling something like that. I'm slowly converting things like that to 1+buffhaste and making the buffhaste value 0.05 rather than 1.

    I've made some changes, and removed all the comparison sets since I'm doing some drastic work on the base rotation setup. (so every dps calc fails aside from the main one)

    Ok, fairly certain I've got everything in for Elemental, and almost everything for a single target Resto setup.

    If people can review the calcs & give feedback, I should be able to get the stat weights/etc back in at the end of the week.

    The annoying german once again...

    What I currently don't get is:
    - you add half the casttime of a LB on the CD of UE for its cast count.
    - same with LvB
    - you are adding 1.5xcasttime in the CD of Elemental Blast for the cast count

    Allowing for the fact that you're never going to get a cooldown casting as soon as it's up again. Generally you'll be casting something else (most likely LB) so that's accounted for by adding half a cast on. Change Blast to have a half LB cast like the rest.
