  2. Modeling Stat Weight Changes

    Hi guys, I'm back.

    Yes, I re-subbed recently, have found a new raiding guild to call home, and of course have a little mathy side project going. However, I don't have as much time as I'd like, which means getting the initial draft out for public viewing is taking some time.   3. Elemental Spells: The Bad

    My last post here discussed some of the current amazing (CHAIN LIGHTNING) and clunky/lackluster (Earthquake, Unleashed Elements) spells at our disposal. After some time-off to tinker and see what Blizzard was going to change in 5.4, and doing some more digging around for some opinions into what’s broken, we can finally take a look at the buttons that infuriate Shaman everywhere. As always, I mainly raid on my Elemental and PvP on the side, so these are PvE views first and foremost.

  4. Maths of Pandaria: Elemental Haste in 5.3

    After the changes to Lava Burst in 5.3 I've been looking at haste & mastery scaling, attempting to get some simple guidelines to how much of each you should have. Now, it's important to note that these are rough guidelines, and may differ from stat weights that you get with a particular gear set. The guidelines are also broken down into those with the Legendary Meta Gem (LMG) and those without. This excludes Mastery from raid buffs like Grace of Air

  5. Elemental Spells: The Good, The Normal, and The Clunky

    If you've been around the Shaman community, you've seen some things. Forum posts lamenting the class as boring, in-game debates with warlocks over how annoying multi-dotters are, self-proclaimed superiority simply by spamming one button (I<3CL).
